Actualy, 5 of these books are from 1904, 1906, 1909, and 1919. The only one from 1956 is the one you commented on.

There are no tears on any page and no scribbling. The binding is eccellent condition.

Your books are most likely are white edition series books from 1964-65. I based my decision on 1956 copyright year for Wizard of Oz. They should be published by Reilly & Lee and have illustrated back covers. Books from these series worth between $8 to $30 based on books conditions.
