Hardcover, very good condition, some small tears in illustration, professionally repaired. Plate between pages 14 and 15 is a tipped in facsimile (see pic). Personal book plate on inside cover (see pic). No Jacket. A delightful first edition, second state of this classic tale . Illustrations throughout the text. Light green cloth stamped in green and red with publisher's name at spine in red, with the "Co" having the "o" enclosed in the "C" (see pic). Lovingly restored with the original somewhat worn spine relayed.Pictorial end papers in good condition. All 24 color plates complete. The contents are very clean and illustrations bright. Bindings are very good having been resewn. Advert on page [2] not included. Page 81, 4th line from bottom: "pieces" spelled correctly. Page 227: "While the woodman.". Pages 100 and 186 both with broken type in last line. Verso of title with printed copyright. Plate facing p34 with no extraneous blue spotches in moon. Shipping cost is free and included in the price. Items worth over $100 will be shipped via USPS Priority mail with applicable insurance, other books will be mail using media mail where applicable. Multiple of books where total price is over $100 and the average price per book is under $50 will also be mailed using media mail service with insurance to reduce cost. Tracking number can be tracked on the paypal transaction or upon request.
